Bits & Pieces
How do you like to read? I love my Kindle but still enjoy reading a ‘real’ book so I mix them up. Kindle is great; one click away when you want a book NOW.
Kate Morton and Victoria Purman are on my TBR pile. I’ve recently read and enjoyed the Dictionary of Lost Words by Pip Williams and I’m looking forward to returning to the 1800s and the wilds of Montana with Amy Barry’s Marrying Off Morgan McBride. These are both talented Adelaide authors.
I’ve recently returned from two weeks in Tasmania. I loved it when I visited 10 years ago and I was excited to share its beauty with my daughter this time. It’s a truly special part of Australia and well worth a visit. I’ve included a few pictures of our trip.
I set two character-related books in Tasmania after my first trip there in 2012. Try reading Mistletoe Not Required, followed by The Party Dare.

Research and planning for my next book is getting underway and hoping it involves visiting some McLaren Vale wineries. The area is a great spot for a wedding, especially as autumn colours turn the vineyards to gold. I’ve decided it’s a must for a wedding venue in the next book.
I’ve booked for the RWA conference in Sydney in August. Looking forward to being inspired and catching up with friends.
